Join us for a beautiful 6-day holiday in the Julian Alps and explore Slovenia by trekking thought the Triglav National Park. It is the best trekking you can have on the sunny side of the Alps within a week accompanied by our experienced guide. You have a chance to conquer the highest Slovenian mountain, Mt. Triglav (2864m) and have an adventurous day in Bled: boat to the island, cycling to Bled Castle and visit the famous Vintgar Gorge.

Itinerary

DAY

1

Arrival to Ljubljana Airport and transfer to Bohinj Lake.

Pick-up at Ljubljana Airport, transfer to Lake Bohinj and check-in to a hotel. Free afternoon to explore Bohinj or to relax by the lake.

2

Koca pri Savici Mt Hut – Komarca – Crno jezero (Black Lake) – Triglav Lakes Valley – Dolic Mt Hut

A short transfer will take you to the starting point of your walk at Koca pri Savici Hut. The route begins with a steep cliff path (steel wires). At the top of the valley there is a short distance to Crno jezero (Black Lake), continuing up the valley following a steep zig-zag path to reach Triglav Lakes Valley and its mountain hut by the double lakes. Further walk from one lake to the next, reaching the last lake at the top of the valley. A short distance walk from the last lake takes you to the Zasavska koca na Prehodavcih Hut. The path continues to lead up to Hribarice Plateau and towards the mountain hut Trzaska koca na Dolicu.

3

Dolic Mt Hut – Planika Mt Hut – Triglav – Kredarica Mt Hut

From the hut the path ascends to the upper Triglav plateaus below the summit, on which Planika hut is located. It continues with a steep incline to Triglav summit. A steep cliff path (steel cables attached to the rock to provide security) continues along the ridge all the way to Mt Triglav summit. Descending the steep cliff leads to the next hut below the summit – the Kredarica mountain hut.

4

Kredarica Mt Hut – Pokljuka Plateau – Bled

After leaving the hut, the path passes Kalvarija and continues on the saddle Konjsko sedlo. Two rocky passages are encountered after the saddle before you reach the mountain hut Vodnikov dom on Velo polje. The path leads almost horizontally over Tosc to the saddle Studorski preval, it then passes slopes above the Konjscica alp to Rudno polje. Transfer from Rudno polje to Bled.

5

Bled – sightseeing (Lake Bled & Bled Island, Bled Castle, Vintgar Gorge)

After breakfast, sightseeing of Bled and its surroundings (by boat to the island, a visit of Bled Castle or a short drive and visit of the famous Vintgar Gorge).

Upon request the following activities can be organized: rock climbing, white water rafting, canyoning, biking, …

Bled – free morning, transfer to Ljubljana Airport in the afternoon (departure
